Aug 3, 2013. #2. It is likely that the Abarth ones place the top rod in a different position to change the caster or camber, or both, to give different characteristics for the different performance. Or it could be different rubber compound. Aftermarket suppliers either do not know or do not care about the difference.
The Abarth 595 is a hot hatchback based on the dinky Fiat 500. Using that car’s basic shape, Abarth has added a muscular bodykit, sporty alloy wheels and a turbocharged 1.4-litre petrol engine
As the styling suggests, the Abarth 595 is a hardcore, hot hatchback version of the Fiat 500, and there are many flavours to choose from. In its basic form, the 1.4-litre turbocharged engine
I’ve owned may vehicles in the 60 years I’ve been driving, with the availability of FIAT 500’s and Abarth’s fixed, you will have to actively search and choose from a thinning pool of 500’s. Many current owners are holding on to our 500’s and dealers are catching on to the supply/demand for 500’s and prices are rising.
Auto VS Manual Abarth: I'm Going Crazy. Now that the Abarth is arriving, I'm trying to decide between Auto and Manual (I test drove both). I change my mind every day. Here are my pros/cons: 1. 1 you will not start the engine. 2 you will have to re- programme the ECU. 3 re- programme the keys as it will be immobilized. 4 you will probably have to have new software as one vehicles software will be different to the other vehicle. No expert on fiat 500, this is what I have to do on all jaguars and land rovers vehicles.
first im new here and i have been thinking about buying a fiat abarth for a long time. the fiat 500 abarth doesn't really satisfy me in terms of performance and i just want to have something a little different from the rest :P. so i was wondering if i could import an abarth 595 competizione or abarth 695 biposto? thanks maybach123
A black Abarth in manual with leather and Bose is £30,360 vs £23,295 - around £7,000 for the same Abarth difference, but of course the power difference is greater. Abarth is promoted as a separate company in the UK, and try to come across as a "premium" brand, much more special than Fiat, but in the US it seems to be just a "badge" option
